Protecting your home and everything in it.

When your house is damaged or destroyed due to fire, wind, hail, water damage, theft, vandalism, or an unexpected event, a homeowners insurance policy helps protect your assets. Additionally, it covers you if someone is injured while on your property and wins a legal judgment against you.

Homeowners Insurance Products:

A home is more than just a building with walls, windows, and a roof. Ultimately, it is the heart of what matters most in life. Whether living in an apartment, condominium, or house, your home is where you raise a family, welcome friends, and develop lifelong memories. Therefore, protect your most valuable investment with affordable and customized home insurance.

Whether you are a new homeowner buying insurance or shopping for an existing policy, we will help identify the product(s) that fit your unique needs and budget. And you may even qualify for discounts when purchasing multiple lines or bundling coverage with a flood, auto, or business policy. Contact us to learn more about coverage options.

Dwelling Coverage

If your house is damaged or destroyed by fire, lightning, windstorms, hail, vandalism, or theft, dwelling coverage covers the cost to repair or rebuild your home’s physical structure in the event of a covered loss. Usually, this includes the foundation, frame, walls, roof, cabinets, appliances, water heater, or attached garage.

Unattached structures, such as a separate guest house, are not typically included under dwelling coverage but may be covered by other parts of your home insurance policy.

Other Structures Coverage

Other structures coverage helps pay to repair or replace structures damaged by a covered peril, such as a fence, shed, or a stand-alone garage. Generally, this is 10 percent of the dwelling coverage.

Personal Liability Coverage

Accidents happen. Therefore, having the correct personal liability coverage protects you and your family in the event of an accident that results in bodily injury or property damage. If you are held legally responsible, personal liability coverage helps pay for medical bills, legal fees, and more.

Flood Insurance

Flood losses can be devastating to your home and personal property. Unfortunately, flood coverage is frequently an exclusion on your home insurance policy. However, you may be able to purchase a separate policy to protect your property against these risks. And remember, if you are inside a “high hazard” flood zone, your lender may require the coverage.

Jewelry & Valuable Items Protection

Typically, jewelry and other valuables are covered under your homeowners insurance policy. But that coverage is not enough to cover the full replacement cost.

In cases where a standard policy may be restrictive, you can add an “endorsement” to increase protection on personal items. This enhanced protection may help reimburse you for up to the appraised value of jewelry if it is stolen.

Canine Liability Coverage

Canine liability insurance protects you from financial responsibilities if your dog injures a person or causes property damage. Some breeds are considered aggressive by nature, but all dogs can cause harm unintentionally. Even if they are generally well behaved. Rates are low, and coverage is often not included in traditional homeowners coverage.
